Poject „Increasing quality of activities targeting rural youth“ has been co-founded by the European Commission through the Erasmus + programme and implemented by NGO „Youth Workers Alliance Vranje“.
Project gathered participants from 6 partner countries on a kick off meeting in Paralia, Greece from 16-22.05.2019. Partners are experienced youth organizations coming from North Macedonia (Next Generation), Montenegro (Mladiinfo Montenegro), Kosovo (OAPA), Greece (International Centre for Sustainable Development) and Denmark (Draft Copenhagen). Partners had NGO fair where they were able to present their work and share good and bad practices when it comes to rural youth.
Project is dealing with lack of possibilities for personal and professional growth for young people 16– 30 coming from rural areas of partner’s countries.

Youth passivity, lack of self-confidence and initiative are consequences of the challenges and obstacles that rural youth faces.
Project aims to develop capacities of participants of mobility activities to respond on the needs and interests of young people in rural areas and to develop their potential through quality activities and to support developing new international projects focus on rural youth.
In the next 10 months partners will work on increasing quality of activities targeting rural youth in their countries by having worskshops and other local events.
